This beetroot dog treat recipe might be the prettiest and most vibrant treats we’ve made yet.
I wanted to incorporate beets into Coco Bean’s diet since they are so nutrient dense and healthy. Plus, hellooo pretty shades of pink!
So I started experimenting with flavors that paired well with beets when I was making smoothies for my husband, and I loved the banana and beet combination. It tastes so tropical!
And we don’t know about you, but there always seems to be an over-ripe banana laying around our home. Which is just perfect for blending, baking or incorporating in a range of frozen dog treat recipes.
I have to admit these little homemade dog treats are delicious and packed with flavor. Bean loved them, and I think your pup will too.
Better yet, you can roll them up in little balls so they look like a fruity cereal, or in little bite size squares, or anything you’d like. The sky is the limit!
Right, let’s get ready to roll (see what I did there!)
