I have a couple favorite posts. The first one is the 13 Project post, it really opened my eyes to how many ways I can help out rescue animals, even if I can’t currently adopt one. My second favorite is the SilhouPETte Charm Necklace post. I told my husband about it and I’m hoping for a custom Wallace necklace this Christmas, I guess we’ll see!!

  2. Ms. Attitude says:

Oh, my, goodness! This is incredible! I’ve signed up for the newsletter and my favorite post of all time was the first aid kit post. I always wanted to put something like that together, but didn’t even know where to start. Thank you.

  10. Courtney Coleman says:

Without question, my favorite post is the 5 Myths About Pit Bulls You Need to Know. With so much misinformation out there it’s always refreshing to see someone standing up for this loyal and loving breed. My pittie and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

  11. Aimee O. says:

One of my favorite posts was the one where Capree from Dog Milk shared her super cute and super easy DIY for fleece blankets which she plans to donate to her local rescue.

  14. Lori McPherson says:

I loved the outdoor cinema with the “pupcorn bags.” I am new to Pretty Fluffy but when I was looking through the blog, when I came across those beautiful photographs and that great idea I was just blown away. I am in love with all of the great ideas and super shopping inspiration. Excited to see what’s ahead for 2013.

  15. Darren says:

It’s a tie between the 13 Project and the article you did on Ruthless Photos.

The former because it inspired people and the latter because Ruth is definitely someone who deserves recognition, not just for her talent, but because of the amount of time and energy she puts into helping rescue dogs.

  16. Barbara says:

I loved your Pet First aid kit post. Made me make one up for my 3 dogs. Had to add a few things like a tick remover & Anti seizure medication for my epileptic male Amstaff.
The 13 Project was such a great idea. I have seen the photo everywhere & people who would have never been involved with helping rescues were suddenly interested in helping out!

  17. Sarah T. says:

My favorite has to be the Project 13 post, just because of all of the people it has inspired. It is a great reminder that even if you can’t do something huge like adopt or foster an animal, you can still help!

  18. Ruth says:

I think I’m already subscribed to your newsletter. My favourite post by far was The 13 Project. You really made a difference with that one 🙂

  19. Nkki says:

I’m super excited because my favorite post, happens to be one of the prizes. The dog bobble purse by Ted Baker was one my favorite posts. I am the proud owner of 2 dachshunds, so when I saw this post I immediately was on the phone with Ted Baker trying to locate a purse. It was a little harder then I expected to find one so I ended up not getting it.

  20. Liz G says:

The 13 Project – without a doubt. You touched many people’s hearts with that – including mine 🙂

  21. Taylor says:

My favorite post is Dogs of the Blog: Life with Addison! JK…I like the 13 Project the best!

  22. Samantha F says:

My fave has got to be DIY Party: Puppy’s First Christmas! So may great ideas which I will most definitely be trying out this Christmas! My puppy will be so excited 🙂

  23. Cecilia S says:

My favorite post has to be the DIY paw print wall art! It is so personal and so adorable! It creates a great conversational piece when friends come over and it inspires me to be more crafty and creative every time i look at it. I love it!

  24. Grace says:

I have three…. Firstly, Coco’s birthday part II. I loved the shots on the beach, the effort that went into the cake and the happy look that she had on her face. I love seeing dogs being treated like part of the family. Secondly, Oscar’s Law. That poor pup went through so much and is now at the center of a project that is trying to make puppy farms illegal. He is such a lovely boy and amazingly, appears to trust people again. And, lastly, the no bake treats, because, they’re cruelty free, healthy treats for you and your dog.

  25. Kelly Walter says:

my absolute favourite out of all the posts would have to be The DIY: Paw Print Wall Art, absolutely awesome idea to have the print of your little fury ones and have it on your wall.

  26. sarah says:

this post about the competition would be my favourite as i have only just signed up 🙂

  27. Emily says:

    What a fabulous competition.
I read all of your posts without fail, and love each and every one. However, a favourite – because i love getting behind a camera and snapping my little guy as much as possible, would have to be the fun and easy home pet photography ideas. Simple yet effective!! I also loved the post offering recipes for healthy treats. I love both these posts the best because they put forward something I could get involve in and ”try” first hand, and i was very impressed with the outcome.

I also love all the posts and work you do re: Rescue dogs. These dogs too, deserve a happy and well loved life. and by pushing this mark to your audience (that lovingly read your work daily) you’re opening eyes.. the domino effect! well done.

Goodluck to all and look forward to hearing who wins. 🙂 xx

  28. Jessica Taylor says:

My dog/s make me smile everyday would be my all time fav! The faces of our two babies light up our lives and we feel so blessed to have two beautiful puppies with two totally different, but amazing personalities.
This post filled me with happiness as it means there are other people out there who love their dogs equally as much (and im not some crazy dog lady) heheh.

  29. ponikuta says:

As a fellow dog lover, I am obsessed with all things dog. My favourite post has to be the No Bake Healthy Treats for me and my Pooch! Belle loved it and I enjoy making things where both of us can indulge in.

  30. Bonnie Davis says:

I love the Ted Baker purses – fashion and daschunds what could be better!! I checked out a Ted Baker store in Singapore to find one, but they must have sold out pretty quickly!

  31. Breanna Wallace says:

My favorite post was the October 9th Daily Fluffy which featured my dog Maddie! I also like the 13 Project, it really opened my eyes that I can make a difference for dogs in need.

  32. Elise says:

My favourite post was the first aid kit, I now keep one in the house and one in the car in case of emergencies.

  33. Katrina says:

    Long time subscriber 🙂

I loved the post in favour of rescue dogs, but my all time favourite was when my dog Ruby was a daily fluffy!

Can’t wait to see what 2013 brings for Pretty Fluffy.

  34. Stephanie says:

My favourite post is In Defence of Rescue Dogs. I have a dog from the pound, she was 10 months old when we adopted her, and is now 4. And she is the best dog ever, loving, well behaved, beautiful appearance. Several people have asked me if I was worried she would have problems (generaly they meant aggression) but why would I? she would have been temp tested for behaviour being put up for adoption. Shelters have puppies and purepred dogs with papers available as well. Also my dog has no major health issues, has a good coat and teeth and muscle tone. I wish so many people wouldn’t write of rescue dogs because they “must have something wrong with them”. All types of dogs can end up in rescue for all types of reasons. Apologies for the novel, but this is a topic I am passionate about!

  35. Annika says:

My favorite post is the 13 Project. It is such an amazing inspiring idea and a great way to support all the homeless pets out there. I have been volunteering for my local shelter for almost 4 years now and not only makes it the dogs happy but myself as well. I am also a photographer and give back by taking good pictures of the babies at the shelter so they find a good home faster. It does really help. Thanks to you and your amazing blog. I am glad I found it.

  36. I have to say I loved the no bake dog treats post….to which I did make them for Ammo….he loved them!

Thanks for all your Pretty & Fluffy posts! We love reading.

  37. Our most favourite post was the 10 Top Tips for Beginner Bloggers post!

It was a fantastic idea, well thought out and laid out, as well as being interesting and informative.

It’s great that you are willing to share your vast knowledge and experience with those around you! 🙂

  38. Oh my gosh, this is an amazing giveaway! I would love to win these for my “niece,” my sister’s dog Isis (also the “Bean” in Bubby & Bean). This is my first Christmas season without Bubby dog in 16 years, and because I don’t have him to spoil, I plan to spoil Isis rotten. 🙂

I love all of your posts, but I think my all time favorite is “In Defence of Rescue Dogs.” This is something near and dear to my heart, and I think your post was both passionate and informative. You brought up so many good points that are important no matter what you live (the U.S. euthanizes an incredibly large number of dogs each year as well). It’s such an important issue and your post was so moving. I hope the whole world gets to read it.

Thanks so much for the chance Serena!

  39. Letitia says:

I love your In Defense of Rescue Dogs post. I have adopted two pure bred French Bulldogs from the French Bulldog Rescue Network. One was 9 months and one was 3 years when we adopted each of them. One I’m allergic to and one I am not. One has severe behavioral issues and one is a very good boy…90% of the time. We drove halfway across the country to adopt one, and the other was our own foster dog that was not suitable for public adoption. But to me, they are both perfect and I wouldn’t give these rescues up for anything. 🙂

  40. Michelle says:

First, I just want to say that you inspire me! Reading your blog every evening after work is the thing I look forward to most. Thank you for opening my eyes to so many wonderful DIY projects, health tips, quality brands, homemade treats, etc. It’s so nice to know that there is someone else/ an entire community that cares about their dog as much as I do!

I love all your posts, but The 13 Project moved me to be better, and do better. Since reading it I have felt inspired to get more involved, educate myself more on homeless pets in my community and ways to help them. When I am able to get another dog, it will definitely be a rescue!

Thank you for all your hard work!

    Michelle and Bambino (the dachshund)

  41. Sherrie says:

    Hi,
I am an avid reader of your blog and almost every post is something i talk about or do, I can’t really pick a favourite but if i had to it would “In defense of rescue dogs”. Rescue dogs are my life and my passion is to save them. The most fun post was the “DIY: No bake healthy treats for you and your pooch!”, my pup absolutely loved them, she ate them all up so quick. Thank you so much for your amazing blog, the one email I look for and the first one I read. 🙂
    From happy fans,
Sherrie and Xena(A daily Fluffy star)

The Paw Print Artwork, it inspired me. Having two very proud grandparents of their Fur Grandchild, it has made a very sweet Christmas Present Im excited to see be opened this holidays.

  45. Jennifer says:

My favourite post is how I discovered you, which is the DIY Puppy Cupcakes because I love baking and dogs. Clicked through your site and found I loved what you were posting: my second favourite post is where you gave tips on taking photos of dogs! Started following you on FB right after and seeing cute dogs in my newsfeed always makes my day!

  46. sue wright says:

  48. Jeanie says:

  49. […] are really happy to again be involved with Pretty Fluffy’s annual Christmas Giveaway! This year the prize package is amazing, with over $900 of products to be […]

  50. Mick says:

wow there’s been so many good ones. The 13 Project post really opened my eyes and also the DIY posts which I find very helpful and fun to do

  51. Ivy Carruth says:

My favorite article has been the one in praise of rescue dogs. I personally have 4 sausage dogs (dachshunds), all rescues. They are so grateful- so amazingly worth all of the extra attention they needed at first. I’m also on the board of a dachshund rescue group. We placed over 500 dogs last year that would have otherwise been destroyed. It’s unbelievable to me that some see dogs as disposable versus members of the family. Rescue dogs know what you’ve done for them when you save them. And let me just say, they save you right back.

  52. Queenie D. says:

My absolute favorite post is ‘5 Fun & Easy Home Pet Photography Ideas’ because I love taking photos of my photogenic lab Sawyer and this post has inspired me to think outside the box.

Since he’s a big dog, it sometimes seems as if there aren’t many props in which he can fit into (i.e. baskets, furniture, etc.), dog clothes are generally too small for his 19.5″ neck, and to be honest… seeing the same grass in all the outdoor photos does get boring, so I loved reading about how one can play around with wallpapers, backgrounds and other easy-to-find props to make photos look more fun and different. In fact, I got some inspiration from this post for Sawyer’s Halloween pics!

Sawyer is my first pet ever and I’m always camera-ready to snap cute pics, so I find all these tips really helpful. Just like many first-time parents, I want to document every single facial expression and event in his life!

Look forward to checking out the e-book and reading similar blog posts in the new year.

    Happy Holidays!

  53. Darci says:

I love your site but the one post that is my favorite, is how I found you, and that is the Project 13! I am so glad you started this. So many people around the world are putting so much effort in now to helped these animals in need all because of you!! So, thank you for doing that! I also love the Daily Dog pictures. Puts a smile on my face with all the cute faces!!

  59. Gibbled says:

I love the posts with new puppy products especially Paw bag. I like learning about how my pup and I can be more involved online or help get new online ventures off the ground.

  60. Katie says:

My favorite post has been “All I Want For Christmas is You” because my dog tends to have the biggest stack of presents under the tree as well and he always looks so happy surrounded by his new toys just like Soda does. It also reminds me of the best Christmas gift I ever received – my Jack Russell, Riley. This year we rescued a second dog so now there will be two piles under the tree. (Gift piles, not poop piles).

  61. My favorite post was The 13 Project…for so many reasons. It has inspired me to stop just thinking about helping my favorite organizations, but instead to actually be active and do something. Thanks to your idea, I held a bake sale and raised money to build fences and dog houses for needy dogs. :0) THANK YOU! Dogs will be dry and safe for the rest of their life due to your inspiration! :0)

  79. Colleen says:

the 13 project was my favorite too and how I found your blog/web site! as a person who has 3 rescue pups as part of her family, I didn’t have time/room for any more and it was wonderful to be exposed to more ways to help (which I’m doing for the love my three give me!)

  80. Elisabeth says:

This is such a lovely giveaway! I adore your Olivia Palermo & Mr Butler post! I have been a big fan of Olivia’s fashion before but she definitely looks even better with Mr. Butler

  81. Dennyse says:

My very favorite post so far has been “5 Myths About Pit Bulls You Need to Know.” Every time I go back to look at it – let alone to read it – it brings me to tears. (I’m actually choking up, just typing this comment!) I’ve shared it with many friends and family members because it is SO true and brings up an important issue that needs to be talked about much more openly than it is. These sweet pups are unfairly maligned and mistreated every day, but anyone who has ever truly known a pit will tell you first and foremost that they are LOVERS through and through. We have three dogs now (!!) and adding a fourth would require us to obtain a kennel license, but when the time does come to find a new canine companion, I’m lobbying my husband to make it a pit rescue! Thank you for sharing this post and for standing up for a sweet, misunderstood breed.

  82. Joanne B. says:

I love all your posts, but if I had to pick one it would be the healthy homemade dog treats. I am always looking for new dog treat ideas for my three resuces.

  83. Sophie says:

Hi, what an awesome giveaway! My favorite post was In Defense of Rescue Dogs because I have 2 rescues pups and they are the best. One I rescued when he was 3 1/2 years old and the other was rescued at 10 months. So whether a dog is older or younger, they are always able to be rescued at a shelter.

  84. Justine says:

The No-Bake Healthy Treats was a favourite – so easy and my boys loved them! But as the owner of 2 mini Dachshunds, I have to say I also loved finding out about the Ted Baker Dog Bobble Purses – definitely on my Christmas wish list!

  85. My favourite post would have to be the one in which me and my fluffy little guy featured in. He was on a celebrity high for days… I had to pull him aside and reminding not to let his furry little head get too big from the Pretty Fluffy fame 😉

  86. Roberta Rossi says:

Hi, I’m Roberta from Venice Italy and I’m the owner of Guendalina my fabulous Five years cavalier King Charles .I love all your posts but my favourite is Sneak Peak Pooccio maybe because we don’t find this brand in Italy.xoxo Roberta

She LOVES peanut butter, so any way that I can incorporate it into a treat is great. Thanks for the great giveaway, and happy holidays to you!!

  88. Teangi says:

For me it’s always going to be the ‘In Defense of Rescue Dogs’ post as being my fave but I said that last time! So next in line would be the photographing your dog tips. I am lucky my boy is ‘camera trained’ but I can imagine how frustrating it would be if he wasn’t as I just can’t have enough pics of my Bart!

  89. Thu says:

I currently receive your emails. :-). Favorite post and one that hooked me was the toy organization one.

  91. Claire Hitchon says:

My preferred newletters are the ones where you promote shelter dogs and where you educate people about adopting instead of buying, to save lives! I adopted Gracie, which you had posted in one of last year newsletters (dont’t remember which one), as she needed a home. And you do all this in a beautiful website full of colours and ideas. I would love to win the presents so I could share them among homeless doggies and “make their Christmas”. Thank you Serena. Lots of love. Claire

I loved the first aid medical kit post , great idea to have in the car incase you find an injured pooch , and great to have at home for your own furballs .
Keep up the great work xx

I love any recipe post! The Halloween pumpkin cookies are my pups’ current favorite, but they also love the no-bake oatmeal ones too (that’s actually how I found your blog!)!! Thank you so much!!!

  95. I loved the Dog Toy box organizing post. I own a business where I sell home organization products for kids so i always have my eye out for cool organizing ideas.

I also rescue dogs, so i have an abundance of toys and beds and collars etc…So this is especially what caught my eye. I always try to think of ways to keep my dog rescue stuff organized.

    Your ideas were great!

What a fantastic giveaway! Some puppy is going to be very lucky!
My favourite Pretty Fluffy post to date was last years DIY puppy’s first christmas party. It was pretty special to me as I had only recently come across the blog after getting my very own boston terrier puppy, and it was his first christmas. Christmas is my absolute favourite thing so it gave us a lot of inspiration to help us celebrate our little mans first christmas with us!
Thankyou for all the wonderful posts full of inspiration.
    Melissa

    What an amazing giveaway!
My favourite post would have to be In Defense of Rescue Dogs. Until August this year we were the proud owners of a rescue dog. Our Ben was rescued with his siblings as a puppy and fostered by the NSW AWL. We spent 11 wonderful, funny and very special years with our boy, right until we had to make the devastating decision to put him to sleep after a very bad cancer diagnoses. On a brighter note, we have decided to adopt a retired or failed greyhound after Christmas to give them a chance at life as a pet, not a money earning commodity.
The article you wrote clearly highlighted the need to give a rescue dog a chance at a better life, they bring such joy to our lives I was also similarly appalled by our PM’s decision to buy a designer dog. What a terrible example to set the rest of the nation. I hope one day we see an Australia without animals in petshop windows and the end of puppy farming and irresponsible backyard breeding. Adopt a rescue pet and you’ll never regret it, we didn’t 🙂

  101. Allison Reid says:

THIS has been my favourite post, because I am absolutely sure that I am going to win this prize package for myself and my wee puppy Wallace!

  102. Michelle says:

I have got to say I loved baking my DIY: Puppy Cupcakes. A real treat for when we visited the in-laws (who are dog people of course!)

I also quite enjoyed your tips for new bloggers as a dog blog is something that really is missing from my life and is also on my must do list for 2013!

  103. Laura says:

I am a new subscriber so I don’t have any favorites yet. I am sure it’s all wonderful. I love any sites that have cool stuff for dogs and their people!

  104. Rebecca says:

I’m new to Pretty Fluffy and I am still catching up on all the posts. I just love this blog! The photographs are incredible. I appreciated the post on 10 Tips for Beginning Bloggers. It has some of the best advice I’ve read so far. Thank you!

  105. Alyssa Hatfield says:

My favorite post was DIY:No Bake treats for you and your pooch! Boy do I love to bake but when I don’t have the time, the peanut butter balls we’re so easy to make & create!

  106. Crystal says:

I loved the post about the DIY Doggy First Aid Kit that included ways to get organized with your dogs info (vet info, shot info, etc). I never thought about having a first aid kit just for my dog. Love this blog! 🙂

  107. Joy says:

I’m a bit partial to the No-Sew Wedding Bow Tie because Cocoa is my owner lol! However, I love the Puppy Cupcakes blog post – one of the first ones I had read ever and that is why I love reading this blog. I’ll be spending my 3 week break trying to model a cupcake after Cocoa.

  108. Katie says:

Honestly, I enjoy every post. I have been following for a couple months now and always do a small “yay” every time a PF post appears on my blog reader. I’ll say posts with lots of pictures are my favorites as I adore all types of doggies & doggy pictures will always brighten my day!

  109. katherine says:

This is so cool. I’ll probably still read by reader (I like scrolling on my iPad with Feedly here!) but i signed up with katherine at ofcorgisandcocktails dot com

I think my fave posts of yours are the treats – you have had multiple ones, but I think maybe the no-bake ones were my favorite. Really, I just like that you have such fun dog posts! I love when your posts pop up in my reader because they are so different and refreshing.

  110. Beth Healey says:

In Defence of Rescue Dogs is my favourite Post and I simply love all of the comments. I wish that there was more publicity for all of these poor homeless doggies talking up their good points and showing everyone just how adorable they can be.

  111. Lindsay says:

My favorite post of your was your post explaining The 13 Project. It really inspired me to do more for animals, and just think of all the other people you also inspired! Keep up the good work!

I love all your prizes, so I’m super excited!

  112. Anna says:

Wow what a neat bunch of prizes!

My favourite posts were the ones on your Mother’s day outdoor cinema! I was inspired by your ideas to invite some of my Puppy’s preschool buddies over before Christmas for a summer al fresco movie night, pupcorn and all! I don’t think we will get much movie watching done though with all of the fun ruff and tumble our young fur-kids will be doing!

    Thanks for the inspiration! <3

‘Happy Messy Love’ is my all-time favourite. I searched for it now to re-read it – you can’t remind yourself enough, like you say, to be thankful for the love you have in your life before they pass on. You can’t be grateful enough for muddy paws and shower them with love because they will leave quicker than you know. Xoxo

  115. Sharon Jackson says:

What a great competition! I only discovered Pretty Fluffy by way of the 13 Project so it would have to be my favourite – I’ve been doing the same thing this year by sheer coincidence so it was lovely to know there were so many others out there like me – I volunteer at the local pound, I began to learn to instruct for obedience training at my local dog club … it’s all been so much fun.

I was brought to Pretty Fluffy via the wedding bow tie tutorial that I found on Pinterest, so I think that one is my favorite! My mini dachshund, Thor, is going to look so dapper on Christmas 🙂

  117. Stephanie says:

My favourite post of all time was when you announced the 13 project. Being a rescue advocate, foster mom, and rescued German short haired pointer mom helping shelter pups is near and dear to my heart. The first time I read your initiative, I remember thinking ‘this is something everyone is going to feel like they can do and they are going to want to do it’ I then saw it spread like wild fire on all my fav blogs and on twitter! Great blog, great initiative… We just love you :)!

  118. Deb Anderson says:

Pooccio! Wow what gorgeous pet accessories to compliment our homes and personalities. About time we had the option for some truly designer pet products. Bright and vibrant…anything but the boring browns and blacks usual for our favourite furry friends.

  119. Alice says:

Okay, so choosing one post is HARD! I’ve loved this blog since the moment I found it, because it’s so positive and informative, creative and cute. I unfortunately haven’t had a dog in 4 years, but will adopt in the future. So I just donate to rescues for now. But I love coming to this blog anyways. For now I have 3 cats, all adopted from a rescue organization. And because animal rescue is important to me, my favorite post would have to be In Defence of Rescue Dogs. But then there’s the 13 project, that is also great, reminding us all that we can all do something positive and participate. I’m also kind of obsessed with pet products, so I love all your posts on those, especially because there are some brands that are not retailed in Slovenia.

So, although we would all like to win some stuff, I think this is a nice excuse for all of us readers to write some appreciation posts, even if we don’t win anything.

    Have fun reading!

The Post – diy no bake healthy treats for you your pooch – has helped me with my two FUSSY Chihuahua’s.

  124. Tina welliver says:

I love all of your DIY posts but my favorite so far was the valentine heart collar. My son left for college and I made one for his jack Russell. I took a picture of the dog and sent it to my son, he thinks I am a little nuts but he keeps the picture on his desk:)

  125. Kathleen Wallace says:

My favourite post is in defence of rescue dogs. My 18 year old boy Sam was a lost dog found by me when he was around 2 and all these years later I have the absolute pleasure of still having him.
He is loyal and devoted and teaches me so much about perseverance . As you can see he is getting very old and consequently his back legs have become quite weak which causes him to fall over frequently but he never lets it both him he just tries again. I love him so much and am so grateful to have him in my life.

  126. Angie Boylan says:

Love the DIY healthy treats for your pooch – nothing better than homemade food for my dog so I know exactly what’s in it!

  131. I LOVE the 13 Project. Its so important for people to understand all the different ways you can make a difference. So many people get caught up in the “I can’t adopt, I don’t have any money, etc” that they forget all the easy ways they can make a difference! 🙂
