One of my favourite movies in the world is The Wizard of Oz.

I remember watching it as a child. I loved the Cowardly Lion for his fluffy tail, Glinda for her ability to commute by bubble and Dorothy for those beautiful ruby slippers. I loved it all.

I was so obsessed I even asked my parents if I could change my name to Dorothy.

As soon as I saw this ADORABLE Trick or Treat session by Missy Moo Studio, I wished to be a kid again – if only to copy these exact Wizard of Oz inspired costumes.

Happy Halloween Pretty Fluffies!

From Julie:

Two years ago for Christmas, I came up with the brilliant idea to give my niece The Wizard of Oz.

I wasn’t thinking that a movie isn’t an exciting gift for a 2 year old. Of course, it was immediately thrown aside and forgotten (can’t blame her, she got some truly awesome toys that year).

Fast forward to this year, and Payton specifically requested to be Glinda the Good Witch!

My sister and I always try to include at least one of her 3 boxers in her yearly Halloween photos.

This year, we got crazy ambitious and decided to have all 3! Layla is Dorothy, Oscar is the Cowardly Lion, and Frazier is the Tin Man. Unfortunately we didn’t have quite enough furry critters for a Toto and a Scarecrow, but they more then made up for it with their stellar modelling skills.

ABOUT MISSY MOO STUDIO

Missy is the doggy that inspired Missy Moo Studio! She is a five year old english bulldog. Julie is the owner of Missy Moo Studio. She likes chocolate, pink, and anything retro. She drives a new Beetle and hopes someday to have it custom painted pink. She (of course) loves design and photography. She adores animals sooo much, she almost became a veterinarian. This is such a beautiful shoot. I wish my dog Basil was more into dressing up in costume but he’s more of a bow tie and winter sweater kind of guy.

Holy cow – that is the cutest thing ever! I love that one of the dogs is Dorothy and not the little girl, very unexpected!
