I wish I could say I was the brilliant mastermind who discovered the uber-talented, and super lovely, Bronwyn over at Pet Clix Animal and Pet Photography. Unfortunately I have to be honest and say it was my wonderful husband who came across her work recently and booked her to take some shots of Soda as a surprise for me for our first wedding anniversary.  I don’t know how they did it without me suspecting anything, but what I do know is as soon as I saw Bronwyn’s work I fell a little bit in love. And then when she sent me these puppy images below? I swear my email server nearly crashed from adorable overload.

Q & A

Why did you become a pet photographer?
There is a saying – “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” I have always loved animals and photography – it was a natural marriage for me. Nothing gives me as much joy as being with animals and the people who love them, and to be able to provide a service that is so emotionally valuable to people is very very satisfying.

What is your number one tip for people trying to photograph their own dog? Get down on the ground! Seeing things from your pup’s perspective changes everything.

Why should people get professional photos of their new puppy? I am a huge advocate of getting professional pictures done of your pet at any age. Like people, a dog’s lifestage continually evolves. Puppyhood is so fleeting, and they are so adorably goofy while they are growing into their paws and ears! Getting professional shots is investing in beautiful – and premium quality – memories you will be proud to display in your home and which will bring a smile to your face every time you look at them.

Awesome photos! I must say that Bronwyn was an absolute delight to work with on this little surprise project for Serena 🙂 Soda loved her and when it came time to choose the top 5 photos to give to Serena, I couldn’t decide and ended up getting them all printed! Thanks again Bron, love your work!!!
