When pet photographer, Julie, from Missy Moo Studio first sent me her wonderful series ‘For the Love of Shoes & Dogs’ I was smitten! The original post was such a breath of fresh air, it really highlighted how creative we can be when capturing our beloved pets on film. So when Part II landed in my inbox, I couldn’t wait to share it with you all. I think we can safely say Shoes + Dogs = Heaven.
My first doggy model was Bella. She is an 11 year old Australian shepherd. She is a diva with an attitude and a strut to match. She had just gotten groomed earlier, so she still had her adorable bandana and matching bows!
My second doggy model was Beau. He is a 7 year old Australian shepherd. Stacey found him at a Rescue 6 years ago. He loves to heard anything moving (or not moving). Don’t you just love his different colored eyes?!?!
And last but not least, there is Sabot. Sabot is a 5 year old Italian Mastiff. He is a big teddy bear who thinks he is a lap dog! But don’t mess with his mama, or his house, because he will show you who is boss. Thank goodness Stacey brought her hubby! He is ex-military and he seemed to be the only one who could wrangle this sweet italian. And what a sweet sight it was to watch his daddy with a squeaky toy trying to get his ears to perk up!
